This is a not a bug nor does KDE have a connection to gnome. Sam, could you please review the status of this ticket? You didn't add a comment which information is needed. I don’t think this is supposed to be a bug so I put not a bug as it’s status. Then please don't use NEEDSINFO status. Oh ok sorry, I will try to remember next time. Sorry if I wasn't specific enough, but I wanted this to be a feature request and not a bug. I just mentioned Gnome as a similar UI with the requested functionality. There are other examples as the system config tools of Fedora which integrate in the xfce and mate settings (control panel) which I don't remember how they are called (but I can find them and provide some screenshots if you want me to). However, I believe that a simple "apply system wide" button similar to the "sync" button of the sddm would be the best UI decision. Just to clarify it, because I got a bit confused by the comments, you are not willing to implement such a feature? |
