Shutting down your pc cannot fix a broken file. It can, however, fatally corrupt a file, as is the case with this file: all bytes are zero, so the file is not recoverable. Check https://docs.krita.org/en/user_manual/autosave.html for information about saving incremental versions and backups. I did save a "draft" version of the image that still works so I'll just work off of that. Just to be safe though, should this issue come up again at a later date what would you recommend I do so I don't lose my work? One again, thank you for the help. * Use save incremental to make sure you have older versions of your work * Do not power off your computer other than through the windows menu * Do not run any security software other than windows defender. |
