You can CC yourself on issues you care about and do a search for issues you're CCd on. Adding a link to the bugs you're CCd on to the home page would probably suffice to implement the requested feature.
> "My Bugs" should probably be renamed "Issues I reported" to avoid confusion.
The home page already has a link to this called "Open bugs reported by me". That's pretty clear.
Hi Nate, (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > You can CC yourself on issues you care about and do a search for issues > you're CCd on. Sorry, I forgot to mention that, but that is indeed an important workaround. Thanks > Adding a link to the bugs you're CCd on to the home page > would probably suffice to implement the requested feature. Unfortunately not really. This is a request to list *all issues* affecting oneself, and *only these*. As an issue triager, what you're suggesting would show lots of "false positives" for me. > > "My Bugs" should probably be renamed "Issues I reported" to avoid confusion. > > The home page already has a link to this called "Open bugs reported by me". > That's pretty clear. This is not about providing a clear link to "My Bugs". This rename is about preventing *confusion* between "My Bugs" and the page requested. If there's a link called "My Bugs" and another one called "My Issues" next to it, users will wonder which one to use. Naming one "Issues affecting me" reduces confusion, but to minimize it "My Bugs" should also be clarified. Ultimately Bugzilla itself doesn't have a feature to let users mark themselves as "I'm interested in this bug". You can run a search for issues you've opened, CCd yourself on, or voted on, but if that's not precise enough, I think the best you can do is to literally to have a big dumb text file on your computer containing a list of the Bugzilla tickets you're affected by. I did this for many years and it worked fine. If that's not good enough for you, then you'd need to request the feature you have in mind upstream in Bugzilla itself. |
