- What I was doing when the application crashed:

 Whenever you update any package, after finishing apper stops working. It does not appear to affect the installation of the update, but it becomes a nuisance to see the tool failing.

- Custom settings of the application:

I use the aur qt5-autoupdater-packagekit package due to the need for discover. Then I ended up installing apper to manage the packages installed on the system.

Using Plasma DE (last version)

The crash can be reproduced every time.
