when i try rendering sound file to mp3 i receive the follow error:

[mp3 @ 0x7f9d240090e0] Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate

[mp3 @ 0x7f9d20000f00] Using AVStream.codec to pass codec parameters to muxers is deprecated, use AVStream.codecpar instead. [mp3 @ 0x7f9d20000f00] No audio stream present.
[consumer avformat] Could not write header '/home/--/--/file.mp3'

in other audio formats i can render. why not in mp3?

Kdenlive version: 18.12.1 (AppImage)
SO: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

MP3 rendering should be fixed with the 19.x version. Could you test with AppImage 19.08.2b from here https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/?

I installed the AppImage of the last version, but no solved my problem
Now appear one "x" showing that mp3 is not present

Just saw that you run Ubuntu 18.04. Please update to 19.04 due to updated libraries which Kdenlive 19.08 needs. 

If the problem still persits please upload here the Kdenlive project file.

to update the system just for solve this problem, I don't think that to be a good solution, thanks

This is fixed in latest version.
