Run debugview tool from microsoft while your trying to rename album and post here all traces printed in the console. https://www.digikam.org/contribute/ Gilles Caulier We know the problem, if the folder is part of a network share on Windows, the folder is locked. Maik Hello, I tried to reproduce the bug, without success. It seems that restarting Digikam "solved" the issue... If it happens again I will send the debugview traces.
