Background

On an openSUSE Linux installation, the "Create New" document items for Libre Office files are missing (see e.g. https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/154229/how-to-add-the-new-context-menu-in-dolphin-kde/).

Thus, I tried to add them manually, and found this tutorial for KDE4: https://userbase.kde.org/Adding_an_entry_to_the_Create_New_menu/en

It would be helpful, if there was a relative obvious way of adding a new file as template for the "Create New" menu.

Yeah it would be nice if we had a GUI to do this; maybe an "Add new templates" menu item at the bottom of the menu or something.
