SUMMARY

I have the Option "Do not show closed accounts" ticked in the Config -> General -> Filter options. The closed accounts are still shown in the "Accounts"-Tab as well as in the Ledger selection menu.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Tick the option "Do not show closed accounts"
2. Go to the ledger and try to select a different account


OBSERVED RESULT
Closed accounts are not hidden

EXPECTED RESULT
Closed accounts should be hidden

Please check whether you have "Show all accounts" checked.  (under the "View" menu.)  That overrides the other setting.

Thanks. That was the issue.
Even when I restored default settings, this was apparently not cleared.
