ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I reported this bug with the tool that pops up on my desktop when an application crashes, but in attempting to gather the detailed information about the bug, the tool crashed with the message 'processing failed', and the additional information that:

No processing for event 'analyze_BodhiUpdates' is defined

The problem has been reported, but a Bugzilla ticket has not been opened,
Our developers may need more info to fix the problem.
Please consider also reporting it to Bugzilla in order to provide that.

The attached file gives all of the additional information that I have. The program does not appear to generate a core file even though I have that feature enabled in the OS. The bug is repeatable; it occurs every time I try to change project settings.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 20.08.0 to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/

If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging.

WARNING: Version 20.08.0 has a new project type that is not backwards compatible... so you won't be able to use older versions to open new files.
