SUMMARY
While using the Line Tool, keyboard sortcuts (square brackets in my case), or otherwise using Shift+Click and dragging doesn't change the brush size.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select the Line Tool
2. Use square brackets to change brush size or Shift+Click

OBSERVED RESULT
Brush size does not change.

EXPECTED RESULT
Brush size should change.
