In the last weekend apparently the same occured on my Arch Linux. I did some file transfers from an internal hd to another internal hd (both formatted with ntfs file system) copying several big files. Plasma crashed (panel disappeared and wallpaper was replaced with a black background) 5 times at least, but weirdly "coredumpctl" command indicated no plasma crash and drkonqi icon never appeared in the systray. But the worst thing was: in some cases the whole X11 session crashed during the file transfer and my system went to login screen. Crash caused by exit() in i965_dri.so Please report this issue directly to intel DRI developers via https://www.mesa3d.org/bugs.html |
