Sentry Crash Report:

Description Adrian Brown 2019-09-23 16:34:30 UTC
SUMMARY
Frequent freezes in Kubuntu 19.04 using a Radeon VII. The freezes did not occur with a Vega64 on the same system. Windows on the same system is stable.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Random freezes.
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
The freezes can occur at any time. But they are more frequent soon after rebooting. The screen completely locks up. Some times sound will continue and then also freeze shortly afterwards. This can happen in any application. I can still SSH into the machine from another machine so the rest of the machine is still responsive. I see the following errors in /var/log/syslog:

Sep 23 17:04:43 Hades dbus-daemon[1681]: [session uid=1000 pid=1681] Activating service name='org.kubuntu.DriverManager' requested by ':1.6' (uid=1000 pid=1761 comm="kded5 [kdeinit5] " label="unconfined")
