ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Falkon is also affected by this bug.
The bug does not appear consistently.
On some runs of Konqueror of Falkon, it does not manifest but in others it does.
Closing the browser or tab and restarting or opening a new tab sometimes "fixes" the problem temporarily.
Typing in a google.com search field when the bug is active will bring up google's search suggestions, but keystrokes do not show and the enter key cannot be pressed.
Pasting text into the field works normally and allows the field to receive keyboard input.
The computer is a laptop and is happens on both built-in and usb keyboards.

Filed under Konqueror since this is where the bug is manifest.
