I have received many updates meanwhile for Android version of KDEConnect on Fdroid. Currently I am running v1.13.2 on my phone. But still I cannot pair my device. I have also noticed I devices cannot detect each other when I am connected through phone hotspot. In this case I need to add IP manually. Yet, it doesn't pair and I get same error message. Thank you for the bug report! I'm sorry we didn't get to it sooner. I can't reproduce this in the 25.04 version of KDE Connect anymore. I suspect this was fixed without closing this bug report.
