Description Bill Werrel 2019-09-08 07:00:05 UTC
I would like to be able to set a custom password for the screen locker that is different to my login password. My use case is that on my desktop at home I have no need for a screen locker for security reasons. But I have a cat and cats like walking on keyboards. So I am forced to lock my screen to prevent my cat from messing with my PC. But entering my password every time I step out of the room for a few seconds (cats are quick) is annoying. I would like to be able to set a short eg 2 character password that is sufficient to keep the cat out but short enough that I can unlock it in a second.

That's a pretty funny use case!

That sounds very much like having a PIN or gesture like on Android OS.

Indeed, which makes this relevant to Plasma Mobile.
