SUMMARY

Battery will not charge when OS is suspended

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have low battery
2. plug-in charging cable
3. Suspend laptop

OBSERVED RESULT

Battery does not charge. Battery indicator light flashes amber as if discharging.

EXPECTED RESULT

Battery to charge normally.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Laptop in question is an HP Probook 4440s, Intel i73360m, 16gb RAM, Intel 240gb SSD, Intel wireless card. I do not have a second laptop to test this on. This bug appeared a little over a week ago (around 8/24/2019) after updating via apt.

I don't think this is an issue on our side. Check with your distribution, perhaps a kernel issue.

Yeah, there's nothing in KInfoCenter that affects this. Definitely lower in the stack than anything KDE software does.
