STEPS TO REPRODUCE
• convert a document to CMYK (whatever colorspace profile)
• create a document with CMYK and Chemical Proof colorspace (no problem with Generic Apple one)

OBSERVED RESULT
Krita instant close
similar to bug 409916

Im sorry but with the information given I could not reproduce it. I tried without success to reproduce this crash on master 7626a0152695 and in 4.2.5

Could you try to make it crash in latest stable version (4.2.5)? If at least you can make krita crash there we can start digging into it, otherwise the bug might already being fixed.

OK it works now. Sorry i thought i had the latest version for macOS.

Now when converting a document all alpha inheritance are removed, but i guess it's an already known bug ?

I couldn't find a report for that other bug or if this is done by desgin. 

Could you open another bug report for the alpha inheritance issue?
