KDE plasma network manager applet red circle

SUMMARY

Both of my Manjaro KDE desktops show a red circle with a line through it on the network manager applet in the tray. I am still connected to the internet even with this error.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Manjaro KDE
2. Boot the machine

OBSERVED RESULT
Red circle with diagonal line through the network manager applet.

EXPECTED RESULT
No red error circel.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro KDE latest version and previous versions.
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.60.0
Qt Version: 5.13.0-7.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This actually started about 6 months ago but since internet works fine I just ignored it. A fresh install of KDE Manjaro resulted in the same bug on a new machine.

I think the icon is correct, you just don't have breeze theme, where this icon would be in form of the ethernet icon with a small orange trianle in the right bottom corner, to say you that you are connected, but without internet access.

Btw. it's NetworkManager who tells us you have limited network connectivity.

Thank you. So this is indicating that I have limited connectivity? It is present on both of my desktop workstations and internet speed tests are normal.

Is the suggestion changing the theme? I'm not sure why I would have limited connectivity on both machines. thanks

You can see from the "nmcli -f all general" that the connectivity is limited, in this case we show you this through an icon.

Ok, thank you for the clarification. Strange it's happening on all three of my Manjaro KDE desktops. I posted this on the Manjaro forums but no one is helping or responding. Thank you for your prompt responses!
