SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add Image Clip to project (in my case a clip consisting of 128 png files 
2. Add Clip to Timeline
3. Right Click on Clip in Timeline > "Change Speed" > Reverse Clip

OBSERVED RESULT
Clip is mangled, appears to only show very few of the 128 images

EXPECTED RESULT
Reversed Clip aka all images in reversed order

Without testing I assume it's the same problem as with animated GIF's (https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues/335#note_12894). 

Workaround: Please render these PNG image clips as transparent mov (Render -> generic/transparent). Import this mov file and try again.

In case you mean Slideshow Clips / Image Sequences with "Image clip" this seems to be a duplicate of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392670. Please check this!

If possible please test if the bug is still present in the nightly build or version 21.04 (coming by the end of April)
