*** Bug 411895 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** As for the invisibility problem, it can be reproduced by selecting a vector layer, selecting the transform tool, then selecting the edit shapes tool. *** Bug 418476 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I'm still seeing this with 5.1.3 on both Windows 10 PC and Android 12 on Samsung Tab S7+. It's impossible to edit a vector shape with any of the mesh transform tools: • new, empty file • create vector layer, make current • create a vector object (rectangle) • click Select Shapes Tool and select the object • Tool Options... click any of the mesh edit icons: perspective, warp, cage, liquify, or mesh • the object disappears • there's a short screen notification "Can not transform an empty layer" • picking the Select Shapes Tool indicates the object is still selected, but it is invisible within the grips • moving the object refreshes its visibility |
