hi,

i have 2 apps to handle pdf files: okular & pdfsam-visual.
none of them can reduce size file like goshtscript wich does that with this simple cmd:

'gs -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dCompatibilityLevel=1.4 -dPDFSETTINGS=/screen -dNOPAUSE -dQUIET -dBATCH -sOutputFile=myNewFile.pdf myOldFile.pdf'

please provide a option/function to be able to reduce pdf file size.

I'm refreshing this post as a wishlist.

Okular should integrate a feature to reduce the size of PDFs via other KDE applications?

this function/feature is really lacking among the basic modification functions that okular already integrates (annotation, highlighting, etc.)
