SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. set dolphin to not preview photos which size is > 0 MB for remote folder. 
2. with kdeconnect go to "camera" folder of smartphone.
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT

dolphin display preview of all photos

EXPECTED RESULT

dolphin does not display photos preview.

I can confirm this issue with Dolphin 19.11.70 on KDE Neon Git Unstable.

This is still an issue as of 20.08.3. It causes quite bad lag as it's done over ssh.

That was not the case for versions < 19.08.0 .

For these versions for each folder we could enable/disable file preview icon.

Since 19.08.0 there is only a global enable/disable file preview icon.

Problem still there.

I checked that preview settings for remote files is "no preview" !

To work around this problem I chose in dolphin settings a different style for each folder and disabling preview for my smartphone.

I wonder if we must choose for this report as product "kio-extra" instead of "dolphin". Where is the problem ?
