Bug 410824

SUMMARY
In previous drawing programs, I map the space bar to a button on the pen barrel, so that holding the button activates the move tool and I can then scroll by dragging on the screen, but I am having trouble making this work in Krita.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Windows 10/Krita 4.2.5/XP-Pen Artist 15.6
2. Set either button on pen barrel to "space"
3. With any tool selected (most obvious with the brush tool), hold the pen barrel button down
4. Attempt to scroll by dragging pen across screen

OBSERVED RESULT
While holding the pen barrel button, the cursor turns into the move tool icon, as expected. However, upon dragging, the brush tool is activated again and it just draws on the screen.

EXPECTED RESULT
The canvas should scroll, as if the space bar was held down.
