SUMMARY
Audio files don't show thumbnails despite the fact ''Auido Files'' option is enabled under ''General > Previews''.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a folder with audio files which includes ''cover.jpg'' or ''folder.jpg'' in the same folder as audio files
 
OBSERVED RESULT
Audio files don't have image thumbnails.

EXPECTED RESULT
Audio files would have image thumbnails.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS x86_64 
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 
KDE Frameworks Version: KDE Frameworks 5.44.0
Qt Version: Qt 5.9.5 (built against 5.9.5)

Do audio files have to embedded art for Dolphin to preview thumbnails? Can it use an image it found in the same folder as audio files? If not, then this doesn't count as a bug I guess but I'd prefer if this could have been included as a feature in Dolphin in the future.

If your audio file has an embedded cover art image, Dolphin will use it as the preview thumbnail.

If your audio file does not have an embedded cover art image, Dolphin will not show any preview thumbnail, even if you have a cover.jpg or folder.jpg in the same directory.

Yep. The thumbnailer currently reads the file itself.

Nope. :)
