STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Starting GIMP via Application launcher - (attached) 1.png - all GIMP panels are black.
2. Starting via Desktop icon - 2.png - top left panel is white.


SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Kubuntu 19.04
GIMP 2.10.12

Same bug with Plasma 5.16.4 + gimp 2.10.12 on Arch Linux.

The same happens when open a file through Dolphin with "Open with" -> GIMP

KDE Plasma Version 5.16.5 has corrected this problem. :)

yes, it's fixed on my Arch Linux too \o/
