SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open dupliactes screen (Tools->Find Duplicates)
2. Select a group of duplicate images from the Duplicates list
3. Duplicate images are shown in the preview screen as thumbnails
4. Select one dupliacte image from the preview screen
5. Change view to 'Preview' on task bar (or press F3)
6. View changes to Preview
7. Select another group of duplicate images from the Duplicate list

OBSERVED RESULT
View in preview screen is reset again to Thumbnails

EXPECTED RESULT
Expected preview screen to remain in Preview mode

Yes, I could reproduce it also in 6.2.0. Also noticed it also happens in other views. See attached screen capture. In both Thumnails and Table view I can togggle between the pick lists without changing the view. However, when I select the Preview it returns to the previous selected view. So if I change view from Table to Preview it returns to Table on changing selection; and when changing view from Thumnails to Preview it reverts back to Thumnails view.

This is not a mistake and and so intended. When you call up another album or virtual album, you switch to the last thumbnail view, icon view or table view. This behavior was never different and I would not change it either.

Yes, the cureent behavior is so desired. I tested here as a test the desired behavior. No, I definitely do not want it.
