Hi Marie, Please go to settings/configure krita/display and select Angle as the renderer. This issue happens when the opengl drivers for some display chips are a bit buggy. See also https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408089 -- it would be really useful if you could check whether the build linked to in that bug report (https://yadi.sk/d/xl2TNx3_IsyE5Q) fixes running Krita with opengl instead of angle on your system. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 408089 *** |

I had to open Paint (on Windows) to do a black background.
