It would be ideal to implement macros into Kwrite text editor. The ideal type is found in Notepad++ which permits users to record, save and replay macros.

Recording macros involves selecting the record macros button and every keystroke thereafter is recorded. The record macros button has a hotkey in notepad++ which is CTRL+SHIFT+R and stop recording macros is CTRL+SHIFT+S the hotkey to play a currently selected macro is CTRL+SHIFT+P the macro feature replays all keystrokes recorded by a macro. Macros accelerates editing.

In addition to the mentioned feature the macro should permit user to play a macro an ammount of times set by user or until end of file is reached which would cease playing the macro.
