SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I have created two small videos both less than 10 minutes in length. I am a new user. When I click on the overlapping video segments I get the pointed finger, but there is no option to add any transition. I am in project monitor of KDE, but do not know what I am doing wrong to not allow me to add any transitions. I am only interested in the default dissolve transition as that will work fine. Thanks for any help. --Larry Forman (larry@forman.net)

Transitions (called composition) you have to do on the timeline. Make the zig-zag with the clip on the timeline and click on the green point to add the transitions. Should work with all 19.04 versions.
