This is most probably a MLT bug which should be solved in the meantime. Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.12.0a which contains the MLT fix. Can you please test the latest appimage and let us know if it is fixed? Seems to save and open up without any problems. The image file with a colon in the title appears as expected without any reference to "invalid" or anything out of the ordinary. Thanks. Thank you for the feedback and contribution.
