Created attachment 121577 [details] Kstars screenshot with Mercury in the wrong position. SUMMARY Position of Mercury appears to be wrong. In these days Mercury is approaching inferior conjunction with Sun but Kstars shows it in the sky during the night. Please refer to the attached screenshots. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start Kstars, problem is geolocation-independant. 2. Find Mercury 3. OBSERVED RESULT Mercury is in the wrong position. At the screenshot time 2019-07-17 01:11:05 GMT+9 (at the geoposition 35°49'41"N;139°57'17"E) it appears to be RA(Jnow) 19h 12m 24,55s ; Dec -28° 21' 6,89" EXPECTED RESULT Mercury is in the right position RA(Jnow) 8h 11m 34,23s; Dec 15° 21' 21,3" (according to Stellarium) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Ubuntu 16.04, Kstars 3.3.1, installed through PPA (also the same problem visible on version 3.3.2 running on Manjaro, Kernel 4.19.56-1) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I'm not sure if you require further informations, as the problem is easily replicable.
