Created attachment 121485 [details] the brush preset i've been using for a year The softness modifier (the one that works with pressure or speed or others) makes the brush hard. It even erases all anti-aliasing (as the sharpness modifier would do) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. have a basic round brush with default softness mode 2. check the softness modifier box, with pressure, for instance 3. look at the preview or paint OBSERVED RESULT every dab is sharp, independently from the pressure applied EXPECTED RESULT with low pressure the brush should be blurry, and with sharp pressure it should be sharp SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Xubuntu 18.04 (available in About System) Qt Version: 4.8.7 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
