SUMMARY

The tab bars seem to take a lot of unnecessary space in the split view.
It would be convenient to have an option and maybe a short cut to hide or shrink Konsole's tab bars to a line similar to the one in Tmux.

The tab bars could be blended in again when the mouse in the moved in the upper area of a sub Konsole window.

I believe Tomaz mentioned that he doesn't like the header either and might be working on an option to disable it.

Tomaz, if this is https://invent.kde.org/utilities/konsole/-/commit/51883380af4c2fef061ceedae95a567b8f1d6f17 I suggest to include the bug number in the FEATURE: line next time you are committing. This will automatically update the bug with the commit link, and inform users that the feature landed.

KDevelop: 5.5.2
Frameworks KDE 5.73.0
Qt 5.14.2 (built on 5.14.2)
