I can confirm this bug. In addition, when I try to actually maximize such a window, its size will not change, but artifacts will be visible in the title bar. I can confirm this bug, it annoys me as well. Cannot reproduce on Neon unstable \o/ Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.14.1 *** Bug 419471 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Reproduced with KWin master 18.80 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Kate in a Wayland session 2. Maximize the window 3. Close Kate 4. Open Kate again This does not affect session restore as in disconnect and reconnect to session, restored windows get their maximized state. I don't reproduce reliably. Could be app related, settings related, Hidpi related or setup. it's still happening on Plasma 5.20 beta, but I can't reproduce consistently. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0 Qt Version: 5.15.1 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 409919 *** |
