Plasma-pa stream names |
Or maybe remove the feature entirely since only a minority of streams set this text correctly at all. Created attachment 144031 [details]
Plasma-pa stream names
I also found this very frustrating. I usually use multiple firefox tabs with youtube, twitch or whatever stream, and is really annoying not be able to identify which stream control is related to the proper browser tab.
Now I read this bug request and I find that the control panel knows that information and already show it. Why is it not doing the same in the applet!? If app is not providing the correct info, that's ok, it's app's fault, but I the control panel knows and shows the correct information for each app stream, the applet must do the same for user's commodity as well.

Created attachment 121303 [details] Screenshot demonstrating the feature SUMMARY When going to Applications tab in the applet, it shows that 'mpv' is playing a stream. But in the KCM, the same tab also shows which stream it plays. EXPECTED RESULT The Applications tab in the applet also shows the stream information, see attached screenshot.
