I'm a bit confused by your report, sorry! How is the Dolphin setting relevant? I thought you were dropping to the Folder View widget? There are no settings in the folder view widget that effect this behavior. So in search of trying to find a solution I thought that maybe some code is shared between the widget and dolphin. Seems I may be correct that changing how dolphin works fixes the problem in some bit of shared code. Perhaps my initial report is a case of too much information. Feel free to ignore all dolphin parts of this. The ability to drop files into folders in the widget is still broken with the default settings. That's not changed and also why I submitted this bug report.
