Strangely if lock screen is displayed by automatic process (inactivity at keyboard and mouse) then numerical keypad is really "on".

What does it say in System Settings > Input Devices > Keyboard > NumLock on Plasma Startup?
Comment 5 Philippe ROUBACH 2020-02-01 07:56:42 UTC
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #4)

My sddm seems like occurred same problem, but I'm using:

Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0
Qt Version: 5.15.1

in

Fedora 33
X.Org X Server 1.20.9
X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0

And I reproduce the bug every time I enter the login session.(Numlock led is on but Numpad doesn't work, I have to click 3 times Numlock to enable it)

And the bug will not reproduce in gdm.

KDE 6.0.5 on Fedora 40. Works for me.

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with either Plasma 5.27.11 (the current LTS version) or Plasma 6.2.5 (the latest released version)?

If you can still reproduce the bug, please change the Status to "CONFIRMED". Thanks.
Comment 10 Philippe ROUBACH 2025-01-14 17:24:07 UTC
