When you go to Help, About KMyMoney and then to the Libraries tab, it only lists:
KDE Frameworks
Qt
Windowing system

Bug reports ask for the plasma version, so this should be included in the Libraries tab and the OS information/version.

KMyMoney relies on KAboutData and the base KDE framework to display the About dialog. I am not sure if a KDE widget application even has access to the plasma version information. It is certainly not available in non-plasma environments.

On the other hand, it is the bug entry template which may ask for information which is not available.

I therefore assign this to the kcoreaddons product.

To me a WONTFIX. Applications don't depend on Plasma, so their version information shouldn't be listed there. Also, would be insane to handle Windows, OSX and all other Linux desktops.

So is this a question for bugzilla regarding either what details it asks for, or maybe just adding some text to that area of the form with information about when each field is actually important for the bug?  
On the other hand, could it be a wishlist for KAboutData to include more information about which platform is running, or maybe some detailed version about that platform?  (I currently have only Linux available, so I don't actually know what is shown on Windows or MacOS.)

Please file a bug about bugzilla template improvements. I expect there's also a bit of concern vis a vis verbosity though. Context is or isn't relevant, there are no hard and fast rules for when which is the case, so generally the user is always better of providing all the information they can get ahold of.

As for the bug at hand I agree with Christoph, showing random unrelated environment information in every application's about dialog isn't very practical unfortunately.
