Until this bug is fixed, you can consider using the System Load Viewer widget (from kdeplasma-addons) to show the current average CPU usage. It saves a lot of space because it does not show the usage history graphs. If you choose "compact bar" for System Load Viewer, you can choose to show the current usage of each CPU core separately. There is an average mode. Right-click on it, go to "Configure CPU load monitor" and uncheck everything except for "system". |
