I have the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy S8. What version of the app are you running on Android and what version of Android do you have on your phone? Android version is 8.0.0 , KDE Connect App is 1.12.93 KDE Connect latest versions and Android 9.0 Created attachment 121691 [details]

Could you also give us the versions of kdeconnect on the desktop?
1.3.4 and 1.12.93 Created attachment 124460 [details] adb logcat terminal output Bug 409079 - Cant open filesystem on Android device Can confirm an issue with accessing the Samsung File system from the desktop. Desktop version: 1.3.5-3 App version 1.13.5 (24.nov. 2019) I gave kdeconnect adb access rights while connecting through adb/usb and now it can access the android file system via wifi and via usb with dolphin perfectly fine. So guessing it is a "security fix/restriction" by android. If that matters, the phone is a SM-G930F (S7 Galaxy) - Android version 9. I got the logcat running while it does it: KDE Connect release 1.4-1.1 and App version 1.12.93 still show the same issue @Jack - can you describe how you gave access via adb? Does it only work for USB connections or as well via Wifi? |
