SUMMARY
This window should expand to show the entire effect display when mousing over the window. As it is, to close a window or change something that is hidden, you have to resize the video window to be able to see the entire effect or composition ... it would be better if the window expanded to the actual width of the effect or composition while the mouse is in the window and return to its set value when the mouse leaves the window.

Thanks for your report! I am not sure I understand your request / problem right. Can you maybe provide a screenshot or further descriptions to clarify (which "Properties Window" do you mean)?

Hint: Please consider to update to the latest version (20.12.3 at the moment, https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) first and check if this has been fixed in the meanwhile.
