Do you change color scheme (System Settings → Colors) or Plasma theme (System Settings → Workspace Design) or look and feel (System Settings → Look and feel)? @Kai Uwe Broulik / Update I changed the theme over [System Settings → Look and feel], which led to the problem. I also tried to change the color scheme directly (back and forth) via [System Settings → Colors], what didn't help either. HOWEVER: A switch to the "Plasma Theme" (System Settings → Workspace Design) "Breeze Dark Flat" seems to be a workaround. I Could toggle between "Breeze Dark" and another scheme earlier, so that the color was correct with "Breeze Dark" also. But now I can't reproduce it. When you change using the Look And Feel package, and the calendar pop-up is still light instead of being dark, does the problem go away if you restart plasmashell with `plasmashell --replace`? Varied but yet wrong color after a plasmashell --restart.
That's interesting. After issuing plasmashell --replace, the calendars background indeed has another, darker grey, background color - readable but not yet that black expected. This color now is resistant when I select "Dark Breeze". This effect was not the same after a "simple" restart - a bit strange to me. Picture is uploaded. Okay, the layout is not the same either. It seems to be a leftover from the Numix theme I've tried before. So the change in color could be just an coincidence, though the background in the Numix version is black. Short: Some color and layout elemets seem to stuck when switching to breeze dark. So are you using the Breeze Plasma theme, or a different Plasma theme? This bugreport is about switching to the dark breeze theme. A switch to the breeze dark theme (meta theme / look and feel) doesn't seem to replace every color/layout-elements as necessary. From what other theme I switch is another question. That was breeze "bright" at the beginning and Numix later, because it was a working dark-theme. The problems are the same, when I'm swichting from the official bright breeze version. greetings Thanks for the info! Are you still seeing this in Plasma 5.20? Some work was done on these components recently. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
