Created attachment 120999 [details] It's in Ark, but the same happens in Dolphin. SUMMARY File names with Cyrillic (UTF-8) letters show as question marks. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. sudo vim /etc/locale.gen 2. Uncomment 4 lines: 2 that regard bg_BG and 2 for en_US. 3. Run sudo locale-gen. 4. Make a file with a Cyrillic name. 5. Reboot and log back in, look at the file. OBSERVED RESULT The file name got fixed? Nah, it still stays in question marks. That also gives you an inability to open the file in whatever program. EXPECTED RESULT See the question marks as actual letters in the Cyrillic alphabet.
