Can you provide more information, what version of. Windows are you connecting to? Do you see any errors if you run krdc in the konsole then attempt to connect? Please check if removing the "shared folder" value in your connection settings helps. See https://bugs.kde.org/394551 Rdp support in Krdc has been completely rewritten in version 24, and the information contained in this ticket is quite outdated. I'm editing the status of this bug as NEEDSINFO / WORKSFORME .
