I decompressed the neon's plasma-workspace and effectively no binary for kuiserver5 "kuiserver" was removed from plasma-workspace with the notifications rewrite. Reassigning to Plasma developers to check if this was intended. So is there a way to have file operation progress? If I understand the code correctly, a new "nofiticationmanager" process should be responsible to manage the kuiserver D-Bus API. On my system, however, such a process is not running. Please wait for a Plasma developer to clarify. "notificationmanager" is the correct name, see https://cgit.kde.org/plasma-workspace.git/tree/libnotificationmanager/CMakeLists.txt kuiserver5 was indeed removed, so let's use this to track not getting notifications for progress tracking as expected. Please see the linked bug report for instructions on how to provide debug information on this issue. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 408250 *** |
