Traceback log of desktop crash

SUMMARY
I'm not exactly sure what caused the desktop to crash, as I had several applications running, including konsole, firefox, dolphin, and gnome-disk-utility, which I was using to format a usb thumbdrive to store some files. I am running kubuntu 19.04 and I am fully up to date with all available software updates. I have not been using kubuntu very long, only having it installed about a week, and in that time I have not experienced any bugs using the gnome-disk-util to format any other partitions or mount storage etc. The reason for using this usbdrive is because my unencrypted windows ntfs partition will not mount in RW, even when running mount in konsole as su, but, its possible that the cause is my current dual-boot setup, I may have made a mistake setting it up. Although, it also seems like kubuntu may have a problem with ntfs in general.
To get back to the topic at hand, please see the attached system traceback for more precise information about the issue.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE (possibly?)
1. On an up-to-date 19.04 kde desktop
2. Install and run gnome-disk-utility
3. Attempt to format a usb thumbdrive to ntfs

OBSERVED RESULT
The desktop began to flicker and fade midway through the formatting process, it was very obvious that it was experiencing an error. The desktop eventually stopped flickering and killed its process, and it started back-up quickly without error, displaying the crash notification in the system tray. Although, it seems like it formatted my usb alright, as I was able to store files on it afterwards.

EXPECTED RESULT
The desktop not doing that.

Is this reproducible in Plasma 5.17? Do you still experience it?
Comment 2 b.raz027 2020-01-18 04:30:52 UTC
I am currently running kubuntu 19.10, which I think isn't running 5.17 yet. I'll try formatting a drive when I get a chance and I'll let you know asap.
