SUMMARY: The Position and Zoom effect, once applied, it will transform a video or photo into a dark canvas. Basically, does not work.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add video/photo to timeline
2. Add Position and Zoom effect
3. Add a few keyframes to the effect

OBSERVED RESULT
The video/photo become black (black canvas)

This should be fixed. 
Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.04.1c to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ 

If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging.
