It fails to create an OpenGL context, i.e. driver issue. Your desktop works as normal then? Do you get a "software rendering" icon in your panel? Do you get a "software rendering" icon in > your panel? > I suspect Ksplash doesn't read the kquick renderer settings Unfortunately not sure what you mean by the "Software rendering" icon, but the desktop seems to work okay, although I've had complete freezes, which seems to have something to do with moving windows from one monitor to another and can be 'fixed' (until next boot) by changing the display settings a few times.. I'm installing bumblebee, will let you know if that helps *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 346519 *** |
