SUMMARY

On the context of the GSoC 2019 face workflow improvement project, face rectangles and true keywords will be separated and used independently (just like labels, date, and location).

However, for interoperability purposes, some users may find interesting to have matching keywords with the names of the people that appear in a photo. That way, software that lacks face management but can read keywords, can also be used to search pictures with certain people in it.

I propose that option to be added to the Tag manager tool, under the "Organize" drop-down menu.

That option would just copy the name of the face rectangles in the form of a keyword to a selection or to all pictures that lack it (yes, that can be a lengthy process). Moreover, similar to the current "People" pseudo-tag that gets added automatically, I propose that the user can choose a custom keyword under which all keywords with people names will be written.
