Hey KDE Guys, I'm a donor and kde lover, could you do me a favor and change the line in (plasma-runner-bookmarks.desktop) 
To "X-KDE-PluginInfo-EnabledByDefault=false"
It's always enabled even if I disable it in the settings.
I would very much appreciate it. :)


SUMMARY
Shows Bookmarks in the Plasma Search even if i untick Bookmarks in the Plasma Search Settings.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Tick or untick Bookmarks
2. press OS Key and type in any bookmark that you have on Chrome or Firefox
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
See see bookmarks

EXPECTED RESULT
see no bookmarks!

That's the real bug, and we should fix it. :)

It seems Plasma Search settings only affects KRunner and possibly other places I don't know of, but not the Application Launcher widget.

Right click > Configure Application Launcher... > General, there should be an "Expand search to bookmarks, files and emails" option and it seems to work. Of course it's more generalized and I don't know if this is intentional.

Yes that's correct.

Ah I see, the bug is that unchecking it in settings doesn't disable bookmarks in Kicker/Kickoff/etc. Looks like this is effectively a duplicate of Bug 382760, which would resolve the issue.
